How does it work?
As a member of the Bavarian Inn Perks Club, you will earn points toward valuable rewards, take advantage of discounts and earn special membership privileges. The more you use your card, the more points you can earn – ten points for every dollar spent! A $20 Perks reward will be loaded to your membership/gift card each time 2,000 points ($200 worth of purchases) have been generated – to be used on a future visit.
There is a $15 new member fee required to activate your account. $8 will be charged for automatic renewal annually. If you have earned 5000 points in your calendar year, your renewal is free for the next year.
Join the Perks Club at www.bavarianperks.com. You can elect to have a card mailed two weeks before your next visit unless you already picked up a membership card at one of our locations. New members will need to activate your Perks membership card online within the above site.
You can also pick up a Perks membership card at the Bavarian Inn Restaurant, participating Frankenmuth River Place Shops, the Covered Bridge Gift Shop, Frankenmuth Cheese Haus, Bavarian Inn Lodge registration desk, and in the Perks Club Office located in the lobby of the Bavarian Inn Lodge. You may also contact the Perks Club Office by phone directly: 1-877-737-5707 any day of the week from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and we can help you create your account online with your email address.
Yes. Your email address is required in order to create the Perks account and to view your account activity online.
Perks Club accounts start at registration after payment has been accepted on the account.
Perks Club rewards, in the amount of $20.00, will be issued when 2000 points have been accumulated in Club member accounts. Any earned points over this amount will remain in the account and accumulate until reaching 2000 points. $20 rewards, when added to a membership/gift card, are deducted from the point value in the Perks account. Allow a minimum of 72 hours before rewards are available for your use on the primary member’s membership/gift card. Only the membership/gift card in the primary account holder’s name has the ability to both earn points and redeem rewards.
Your Bavarian Inn Perks Club Card is accepted at our many locations in Frankenmuth. At the Bavarian Inn Restaurant, present your card at the time of purchase at: Dining Rooms, Michigan on Main, Doll & Toy Shop, Souvenirs & Cheers Shop, Wine & Beer Cellar, Castle Bakery, Royal Gift Shop, and the Nutcracker Sweet Candy Corner. Also the Fischer Platz Biergarten (in Season).
At the Bavarian Inn Lodge, present your card at: the Front Desk while checking in for guestrooms, Michael’s Gift Shop, Martha’s Gift Shop, Oma’s Restaurant, Lorelei Lounge, and the Ratskeller.
At the Frankenmuth River Place Shops, present your card at these stores during a purchase: Emile B’s, Funky Skunk, Hello Cats & Dogs, Girl Talk, Mother Earth Toy Jungle, Enchanted Forest, and Woody’s. Also at the Cass River Bar & Grill. You can also present your card at the Frankenmuth Cheese Haus, the Covered Bridge Shop, and Frank's Muth on Main Street.
Perks Club Rewards
No. The primary member card is gold in color, and has the ability to earn points AND redeem rewards. The secondary card is silver and has only the ability to earn points. Only the primary card can function as both a gift card and a membership card.
A reminder notice will be sent to the email address on file two weeks before auto-renewal is set to occur.
Your membership is valid for 12 months from date of payment and must be renewed every year. Should you earn 5000 points in your calendar year, your membership renewal is free for the next year.
All Perks Club members with active memberships will receive a reminder email to renew two weeks before the account is set to expire. All renewals afterwards will be automatic every year.
There is a $10 replacement fee for the primary account holder’s Perks Card. The primary member card is a membership/gift card. The secondary member’s card has the ability to only earn points. This card can be replaced at no charge. Points will remain on the account and will be at the same balance when the card is replaced.
Replacement cards can only be reissued in person at the Perks Club office during business hours. Be sure to bring photo ID to verify the Perks Club account is yours. The Bavarian Inn Perks Club is not responsible for any Perks reward credits that are redeemed without your permission. Keep your Perks Card secure as you would any gift card.
Your Perks Club membership allows you to have two members on your account. The first member is the primary member and the other is the secondary member. Both members receive Bavarian Inn Perks Club rewards. The address and email address we keep on file will be under the name of the primary member. Only the primary “gold card” will have dollar value active for redeeming.
Membership in the Bavarian Inn Perks Club is available to any individual 18 years of age or older.
It is important to present you card at the time of purchase to make certain your points are entered into your account. To upload a forgotten receipt, log in at www.bavarianperks.com, click Upload Receipt, and follow the instructions listed. Points cannot be added to your account without a receipt. Please note that receipts can be added to your account up to two weeks past the date of purchase. Receipts older than fourteen days are not eligible for points and will not be accepted if uploaded.
You can log onto your account and reactivate your expired account. There is a $15 fee to reactivate an expired account. Any points earned in your account are deleted once the account expires.
If you pick up a new Gold Perks card at one of our locations, the card will begin to track purchases if swiped immediately. The card will only track purchases for 90 days from the first date used if you do not register the card online. No rewards from the card can be given until the card is registered with the Perks Club and attached to a Perks membership account. Only ONE gold card and ONE secondary silver card can be attached to one Perks membership. Points from additional cards cannot be combined into the same Perks account. It is highly recommended you immediately register your Perks card to be eligible for rewards of any kind in the Club. Example: If you pick up a card today and begin tracking rewards over the next three days and do not enroll the card for 60 days, your enrollment date will begin with the date of the oldest purchase tracked on the card.
You will always log into your account with the email address you used when you created your Perks Club account as this is the unique identifier for your account. You will need to contact the Perks Club office and they can change you email address so you will continue to receive important account notifications.
Bavarian Inn Lodge
Members can earn points for up to three (3) rooms per night at the Bavarian Inn Lodge. Applicable conditions are: Perks Membership must make the reservations for all three (3) rooms. Payment for all rooms must be made by the Perks Club Member on the members personal Credit Card (all charges on one credit card) or Perks Club Member personal check. No cash payments are applicable. The Perks Club member earning points for the rooms must stay in one of the rooms each night.
Points are not awarded on advance deposits. They are awarded once the room charges are posted, nightly, to the guestroom account. The Perks member must be present in one of the guestrooms.
Bavarian Inn Perks Club members will be sent newsletters informing them of the Perks Club rates and special events approximately 4 times a year. The current newsletter can also be viewed at https://www.bavarianinn.com/perks-club/perks-newsletter.
Your Perks Club rewards are valid as long as your Perks account is kept current. Rewards cannot be redeemed on expired accounts. All points and rewards are forfeited on expired accounts.
No. Only the Perks members listed on the account can present the membership/gift card for earning points and redeeming rewards.
Any value available on the gold membership / gift card may be redeemed at once, as long as the account has not expired.
Perks Club points and Perks rewards are not redeemable for cash or any other form of credit and have no value until presented for redemption according to the Perks Club Terms & Conditions.
Both the primary and secondary member on the Perks Club account must be a member for 45 days before becoming eligible to receive the birthday dinner benefit redeemable at the Bavarian Inn Restaurant.
Unfortunately, the Bavarian Inn will not issue a free dinner without the emailed coupon.

Banquets, conferences and any group functions, including Ratskeller birthday parties and rehearsal dinners are excluded from earning points. Banquets, conferences and group functions are defined as venues occurring with arrangements booked through the Sales Department or where a banquet menu is pre-arranged. Game cards purchased in the Family Fun Center at the Bavarian Inn Lodge are not eligible for points. Also, game cards purchased in the Cass River Bar and Grill are not eligible for points.
No. The old Perks membership cards are inactive.
No, under the current Terms and Conditions of the Perks Club, old paper certificates from 1999 to present have no value. This is even true if they say “No Expiration Date” on them.
Our Existing Members
Yes, the two locations where the gift cards can be purchase is at https://onlinestore.bavarianinn.com/ and directly through the Bavarian Inn Perks Club office located off the Lobby at Bavarian Inn Lodge. Perks Club members should not buy Bavarian Inn gift cards to pay for their own purchases. This may be defined as fraud under certain circumstances. If you are purchasing gift cards as a gift for another Perks Club member, they will not earn points for purchases that the gift card is used as payment.
Your Name is no longer on your Perks Card. Your Perks account number is the 19 digit number on the back of the card. To check the balance of points in your account, you will log in to the site. All the details of where and when you spent are recorded. To see your reward balance you can scratch off the 3 digit pin on the back and follow instructions on the back of the card.
Present your card at all stores and restaurants to earn AND REDEEM your rewards. You spend your perks dollars as if your Perks card is a gift card at any of our locations.
There is a $10.00 card replacement fee that will be charged each time a new gold card is issued because a card was forgotten, misplaced, lost or stolen. Balances can be transferred from the lost card if they were not yet redeemed.
Perks Club primary members can add a secondary member and have a silver card to a Perks Club account by visiting the Perks Club Office in person. Only the primary member (with photo ID) may have a secondary member added to an account to protect potential values on Perks Club accounts.
